Jimin Kim ("we," "us," or "our") built AssetFuse (the "App") as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using AssetFuse, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
To sync your portfolio, the App requires API credentials (API Key, API Secret) for supported brokers and exchanges:
These credentials are stored exclusively in the macOS Keychain, an encrypted system-level secure storage. They are never transmitted to our servers.
When you sync your accounts, the App retrieves and stores the following data locally on your device using SwiftData:
This data is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to any external server.
If you use the AI Chat feature, your messages and portfolio context are sent to the AI provider you select:
Your AI API key is stored in the macOS Keychain. We do not store, log, or have access to your chat conversations or AI API keys.
We use Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). We only receive a transaction receipt to verify your subscription status.
AssetFuse does not require account creation or sign-in.

The App communicates with the following third-party services on your behalf and using your own API credentials:

All communications use HTTPS encryption. We do not operate proxy servers — your device connects directly to these services.
Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate servers that store user data, the risk of a centralized data breach is eliminated. Your data security depends on your macOS device security (password, FileVault, etc.).
AssetFuse is not directed at anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The App deals with financial investment data and is intended for adult users.
The App allows you to export your portfolio and trade history as CSV or XLSX files. These exported files are saved to a location you choose on your device. We do not receive or transmit these files.
Since we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, traditional data subject rights (access, correction, deletion requests) are managed directly by you on your device. You have full control over all data within the App.
If you use third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic), please refer to their respective privacy policies regarding your rights over data processed by them.
AssetFuse is a portfolio tracking and analysis tool. It does not provide investment advice, financial planning, or trading recommendations. All data displayed, including profit/loss calculations and AI-generated analysis, is for informational purposes only. You should consult a licensed financial advisor for investment decisions.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Cryptocurrency and securities investments involve risk of loss.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
